About EduRepay
EduRepay does exactly one job: compares monthly payments under the Standard, SAVE, PAYE, IBR and refinancing options and estimates forgiveness and interest saved. That is the whole of the site. No account, no newsletter, and no wall between you and the number you came for.
What EduRepay is for
The reason EduRepay exists is simple: a tool that does one thing should not need an account, a cookie wall and three scrolls of marketing copy before it shows a number. So this one does one thing — compares monthly payments under the Standard, SAVE, PAYE, IBR and refinancing options and estimates forgiveness and interest saved — and shows it immediately.
How it works
The whole calculation is client-side JavaScript. What happens is this: it applies each plan's own formula — income-driven plans scale the payment to discretionary income while Standard and refinancing use a fixed amortisation schedule — then accumulates interest and forgiveness over the repayment term. Because the method is published here, any disagreement you find can be traced to a particular step instead of being blamed on a black box.
Privacy, by design
Your input stays local: your loan balance, income, family size and interest rate are handled entirely by the page and never leave your device. You can turn off your connection after loading and the tool still works, which is the simplest proof that nothing is being sent.
Who it is for
- anyone doing the numbers before a decision.
- people modeling a plan over several years.
- readers who want the assumptions laid out.
Keeping it free
Advertising pays for the running of EduRepay; nothing here is subscription-based. No advertiser is given the values you enter, and an advert appearing beside a tool is never a recommendation of it.
