Disclaimer — read before you plan

EduRepay is a student loan repayment calculator that compares monthly payments under the Standard, SAVE, PAYE, IBR and refinancing options and estimates forgiveness and interest saved. It applies each plan's own formula — income-driven plans scale the payment to discretionary income while Standard and refinancing use a fixed amortisation schedule — then accumulates interest and forgiveness over the repayment term. Everything below concerns that specific calculation and the values it involves, and nothing beyond it.

Everything the tool works with — your loan balance, income, family size and interest rate — is handled locally. It is usually reached for things like checking whether a lower monthly payment costs more overall, and because nothing is transmitted a visitor can close the tab knowing no copy was made anywhere.

The nature of this site

edurepay.com is an informational site. What EduRepay produces are estimates of a calculation, not measured facts and not professional guidance.

Reading a financial projection

Unless a page says otherwise, the money tools assume rates stay fixed, contributions never change, and fees and inflation are set aside. None of that holds exactly in the real world. A EduRepay figure is an illustration rather than a forecast and should never be the sole basis for a financial decision.

Adverts and sponsorship

Adverts fund the Site and cannot influence a result. An advertisement appearing here is not an endorsement of the advertiser or the product.

Provided without warranty

The assumption that matters most for EduRepay is that your input matches the model. It applies each plan's own formula — income-driven plans scale the payment to discretionary income while Standard and refinancing use a fixed amortisation schedule — then accumulates interest and forgiveness over the repayment term. When it does not — or when rounding, unit handling or browser behavior intervenes — no warranty attaches to the Site, careful as we are with the method.
